My African dream...

Born in Alsace (France),  I became a winemaker as a result of passion. After spending 3 years of studies in Burgundy, I apprenticed with number of winemaker (Burgundy Chateauneuf du Pape, Alsace and South Africa) before introducing my own wine.

Young Alsace estate owner, I fell in love with South Africa during 2003 harvest at Bouchard Finlayson. The peoples, the landscape and the history were so different than Alsace and so exciting at the same time. Returning the next year, I befriended with Gordon, the owner of Newton Johnson Vineyards and I embarked him to my own venture.

Making wine in South Africa has always been a dream for me. Young winemaker in Alsace, the Terroir, the climate and the tradition of my region only allow me to make great white wine. South Africa gives me the fantastic opportunity to make red wines. Since few years, I share my time between the Alsace and the South African cellar. Making Riesling on October and Syrah on February!

Both productions are small and detaches them self from industry they are the result of the passion and some dreams.
